Holy shit, it's a double feature! And the newsletter's up in reasonable time! What miracle will happen next? (hey, I know- I might even get a girlfriend)

Ranma 1/2- Missed due to class

Nadesico- Missed due to class

Ah! My Goddess S2: Having only seen the second half... well, more than enough for me to get the basic idea. Another wrong number makes Keiichi's harem grow by another member. Translation: Wrong number leads to the goddess Peorth joining them all, and apparently Keiichi has to make some sort of wish, and Peorth's determined to make it happen. Thus she tries everything in the book that supposed to make a man happy; however, Keiichi remains true to Belldandy, even with peorth trying the sex appeal method, which Keiichi, unlike most men, avoids. Urd points out to Peorth that Keiichi makes Belldandy genuinely happy. However, this doesn't deter Peroth by much. Meanwhile, Keiichi finds solace with Belldandy, who as usual is happy to have him, and thus allows keiichi to have a peaceful rest with having to worry about Peorth.

Daphne in the Brilliant Blue (20)- Despite all records of Maia having to family beyond those who died, she keeps crying out 'Big Brother' in her sleep. This ends up affecting her work, and she heads to Siberia, where she's convinced the answers to her past lie, having recieved no help hwere she currently is. In Siberia, the head of that branch accompanies Maia to a tree, where she's convinced a time capsule is buried. but after digging away for hours, nothing is revealed, so she heads back to the hotel (with the branch head getting nowhere with Rena). However, at a point she ends up leaving the hotel, and something in her memory guides her down a path in Siberia, where she is assaulted along the way but saved by the mysterious man with silver hair. After he vanishes, Maia continues down the path, and ends up in an open place, calling out 'Big Brother' *insert some comments here*, and wondering if that silver haired guy is said person.

Slayers NEXT (6)- We have our restaurant scene, and then, of all people, guess who reappears? Martina! After Lina destroyed everything of hers, she's determined to take something precious of Lina's. After some intial failed attempts, she decides that A) she wants Gourry and B ) casts a curse upon Lina, which cuases Lina to feel any damage Lina inflicts on others to be inflicted back on her. Thus, we end up having several hijinks at a spa, before martina comes out and reveals herself. She sends her minions after the group, who Gourry easily takes care of. Then they head outside, Martina still raving about Gourry being herself, and in a goof, Martina casts the curse upon herself. However, the situation is resolved with a fireball, leaving Martina defeated but Lina in pain as the group heads off.

Devil May Cry (1)- Based upon the hit video game, this one is a keeper. Basically, we have Dante, who has a devil-may-care attitude, and he gets assigned to escort a little girl so as she may receive her inheritance. The only problem? We have demonic forces after both of them. Thus, as Dante plays bodyguard, he takes out tons of demons who would have them dead, including one impersonating the girl's mother. Meanwhile, those who plot against her receive a visitor who claims the girl is just a decoy for her, but this does little as another of the conspirators turns out to be a demon and tries to kill them all. Dante, having taken out other demons and being the hero who has perfect timing, arrives on scene and deals and deals with that demon. He then says that the woman's lucky he can't kill a human, despite her playing a game that's worse than any demon. Thus, the little girl gets her money and redecorates Dante's office, which he doesn't mind too much... but also eats his sundae as compensation, which highly annoys Dante, on top of his office makeover. We may have lack of fanservice unlike Burst Angel, but hell, the action and gore is more than good enough.

Martain Successor Nadesico (3)- With the crew gathered and ready to fight the Jovians, we have the next problem: getting past the forces of Earth who are now opposed to them going out and fighting. However, Yurika's still determined, and asks nicely for the barrier to be removed, or they will go through by force. This ends up having the Nadesico battle against the earth forces, including Yurika's friend Jun. Akito and Jiro (or whatever name he wanted to be called) fight Jun, and Akito manages to convince Jun to give up the foolishness as he joins them, despite the Nadesico having broken through the barrier and now becoming an enemy of the Earth Federation. Also, the other pilot ends up being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as prisoners from earlier shoot him, and a metaphorical Gekigengar scene plays. Please note that Akito and him had bonded over Gekigengar stuff, and thus we had our resident otakus.

im going to be busy this week for looking for a job too but next week im not going to be
plus im busy with trying to help out this house and im getting ready to look for my own place to move out by sept. or oct.
