Has anyone ever heard of Drakuun?

My good friend's husband gave me three massive volumes of it and the girl on the cover looks too damn familiar... but I dunno...

any input would be appreciated!

Can't say I've heard of it (despite the tons of manga I read), but it looks like the artwork is somewhat similar to that of Slayers

(although, as I just found out, this guy has done a ton of doujinshi...)

otherwise, it's not too hard for me to find out more about the series, if you need more info

and as for the anime... well, I'm willing to bet you're thinking of Dragon Half (and the designs do kind of look a bit similar)
